About This Spot

Beehive Espresso is a quietly spirited spot nestled along Bothell Way NE, where the morning rhythm feels friendly and unhurried. From the moment you pull up, the space invites a laid-back kind of energy—one that balances the buzz of a neighborhood espresso bar with the familiarity of a well-loved local haunt. The atmosphere is warm and approachable, a place where baristas greet each visitor with genuine kindness, adding a comforting human touch to each coffee ritual.

Inside and out, Beehive captures the essence of casual mornings crafted around carefully pulled shots of espresso and simple, satisfying bites. The modest menu offers familiar comforts—flaky breakfast sandwiches, soft muffins, and sweet cookies—that complement the coffee rather than compete with it. This straightforward approach encourages moments of easy connection, whether you’re savoring a latte to yourself or sharing a quick breakfast with friends.

There’s a relaxed flow here, a place where people seem to come not just for caffeine but for a little pause and smile. It’s evident in the way the baristas engage, attentive without rush, creating space for lighthearted interactions that make each visit feel like a small discovery. The spot draws a steady stream of locals who appreciate both the quality in their cup and the down-to-earth vibe that makes Beehive feel less like a stop on the way and more like a part of the day.

Whether it’s the modest hum of conversation or the backdrop of Bothell’s changing skies, Beehive Espresso offers a gentle start and an honest taste of community, inviting visitors to settle in and savor the simple, human moments woven through each coffee experience.

Didn’t realize it was a bikini stand.. I did drive up with my kids. It’s always semi busy so I wanted to try a drink from there since there was no line today. the barrista was very kind and asked if I wanted her to put some clothes on I giggled and said no. Things happen.. now we know don’t pull-up with kids lol she was very nice and customer service was great and my drink was good.!!

What a great way to start the day! Ignore the prudes downvoting this spot. No one is forced to go here. The coffee is excellent and fairly priced: $5 for a really good latte or americano and $5 (plus tip) for the unparalleled views of gorgeous mountains and valleys. An unmatched way to get the blood flowing in the morning. Very kind and helpful baristas who know their coffee. I was served by a friendly Venezuelan this morning. A quintessential PNW experience!
